Adam Mahaney joined the Old Town Recreation Center family in January 2013. He is the Program Director for the Old Town Recreation Center. His goal is to have the kids actively involved with our programs. He wants to offer a safe, and productive programs to keep the children engaged. Adam is actively involved in the community with youth sports. Adam also serves on the Board of Directors for Old Town Little League. “Sports provides lessons that can really strengthen one’s life as they get older by learning things such as teamwork. The way to have a great day is to have fun with the kids, see them smiling and laughing” says Adam. Adam resides in Old Town with his wife Jenn, and two boys, Brendan and Tyler.

Connor Archer joined the Old Town Recreation Center family in March 2016, as the logistics coordinator. He is an honors diploma graduate of Old Town High School, and is attending Husson University this fall to major in Business & Communications. Connor has been nationally recognized through The Courageous Steps Project, an organization he founded to help children and young adults with developmental challenges. Connor is an individual who lives with Autism, so for him it’s important to be the advocate or person to look up to for other children who may have similar challenges. Connor over the years has provided several programs with the reliable support & tools to succeed, and says he will do the same as the logistics coordinator.

Devan Morin joined the Old Town Recreation Center family in December of 2015. He is a graduate of Old Town High School, and wants to pursue a field in secondary education. In addition to pursuing secondary education, he would like to get involved in coaching. Devan likes working with kids, and has worked with many kids through the mentoring program through the University of Maine.

Devon Biggie joined the Old Town Recreation Center Family in June 2016. He is originally from St. Johnsbury, Vermont. He is majoring in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maine. He is the oldest of 4 boys back home with the youngest being 8 years old. Throughout this summer he’s excited to get reconnected with his inner child, and at the same time getting to know the children here at the Old Town Recreation Center.

Lindsey Szewczyk joined the Old Town Rec family in January of 2017. Lindsey is from Hollis, New Hampshire, and is attending the University of Maine, majoring in Kinesiology with a concentration in teaching and coaching. She worked as a camp counselor in high school in New Hampshire. She hopes to gain experience, and loves working with kids. She wants to be a P.E. teacher in the future.

Emilee Arsenault joined the Old Town Recreation Center Family June 2016. She is a junior at John Bapst Memorial High School, and enjoys cheerleading and softball in her free team along with spending time with friends and family. She loves her job so much, working with children is super special to her and she’s grateful for this experience which has taught her many valuable lessons.

Haley Bouchard is a senior at Husson University, studying health science. She is originally from Presque Isle. Haley hopes to continue her post-secondary education, by going to grad school. Haley enjoys having fun with kids, and is excited to join our “rec” family. She also hopes to gain experience and learn some key things that could help her in her profession.

Nick Moeller joined the Old Town Recreation Center Family in August 2016. Nick is an Old Town High School Class of 2011 graduate. Nick is currently attending the UMA Bangor campus for mental health. Nick is excited to put his mark on the Old Town Rec program, and is excited to start a new phase as a counselor.
